This is the 3rd at Wentworth, which calls for a fade. Seve’s natural shape was a draw, until the mid-90s when he tried to develop a fade to prevent the snap-hook which was starting to plague his career.
Seve’s best was in the 80′s. 80+ official PGA tournaments in his career. You don’t do that by being a wayward driver. Seve was straight and long when at his best.
He was only wild at the beginning and end of his career. The middle part (when he won most of his 91 tournaments) he was actually a pretty straight driver. People forget that now
Jarrod, a student of The Perfect Golf Swing System, decides he will have a lesson on some golf mistakes he makes. This is the first video in a 2-part series. This video shows some mistakes and I give him some things to work on.
Roger Ide does video analysis of your golf swing and compares your swing to the top professionals.
Here are some examples of his work and some golf tips you might learn from.
Video 1
Roger Ides’ student Jarrod is a good athlete and is very flexible. They’re working on his hip turn. He tends to turn his hip too much on the back-swing, then opens up or turns too fast on the forward swing. They’re going to try and keep the left hip a little more quiet on the back-swing then slide the hip slightly to the left to start the downswing.
Progress:
After a little work Jarrod has cut down the hip turn or rotation on the back-swing. This will create more torque in his back-swing giving him more power. The lateral slide to start the downswing will hold the coil longer allowing the power to release later in the downswing. Also the club will drop into the hitting slot, then down the line giving him more accuracy. He’s going along very well.

Summary:
Improvement in the golf swing is a result of practicing properly. Practicing the wrong thing is not going to help your swing. They identified a couple of flaws in Jarrod’s swing. He practiced specific training drills at home and on the driving range. He is now in a position to improve.
